Telefilm Canada and The Canada Media Fund announce the appointment of Dominique Lapierre to the position of National Director, CMF Program Administrator

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Telefilm Canada are pleased to announce the appointment of Dominique Lapierre to the position of National Director, CMF ProgramAdministrator. Having served in the position on an interim basis for the past year, Ms. Lapierre manages the team responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of the CMF’s funding programs. Since 2006, the CMF has entrusted administration of its programs to Telefilm.

A law graduate from McGill University, Ms. Lapierre started her career by working in business law at the law firm Borden Ladner Gervais. She joined Telefilm in 2002 as Legal Counsel – Feature Film. In 2006, she was promoted to the position of Deputy Director – Feature Film, French Market, and in 2009 to the position of Director, French Market – CMF Program Administrator.

In addition to her extensive knowledge of the television, digital media and feature film industries, Ms. Lapierre is an experienced manager who favours healthy communication and teamwork to achieve expected outcomes and results. She also holds a specialized graduate diploma in cultural organization management from HEC Montréal.
