Telefilm Canada unveils new 18-month strategic plan
Today, Telefilm Canada announced its new 18-month strategic plan focused on remaining agile in a time of modernization, and continuity as the industry stabilizes from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Telefilm’s driving goal is a screen industry in Canada that, through its resiliency, adaptability, and courage, stands as a bright beacon on the world stage. A leader in independent production, Canada sets the example in sustainable and inclusive content that is representative of all.
As a partner of choice, Telefilm continues to foster, finance and promote talent in Canada through its values presented in the strategic plan. Launching in October 2022, Telefilm’s main priorities continue to support a sustainable and inclusive audiovisual ecosystem, amplify its internal expertise, optimize its operational capacity as well as solidify and attract new funding sources.
